Texas A&M System Regents Approve West Campus Dining Facility

The new dining facility will serve the needs of the West Campus area of Texas A&M.

The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents today approved the construction of a $15 million dining facility to serve the needs of students, faculty and staff on the West Campus of Texas A&M University.

Construction is expected to start June 20 on the West Campus dining facility, which will be located in the West Campus Quadrangle bounded by the Biochemistry/Biophysics building, the HEEP Center, the Kleberg Center and the Rosenthal Meat Science & Technology Center.

New dining venues will include Chick-fil-A, Houston Street Subs, Copperhead     Jacks (serving TexMex food) and a to-be determined salad concept.

Chartwells is the current dining vendor at Texas A&M. The West Campus dining facility will include indoor seating for 390 people and outdoor seating for 80.

There are currently 41 dining locations on the Texas A&M campus.
