Emmanuel Acho on His New Book, ‘Uncomfortable Conversations With a Black Man’
“Are you afraid of white people?” Ten-year-old Emmie Gaines asks the question quietly but confidently. She and her four siblings, along with their parents, home design gurus and Magnolia cofounders Chip and Joanna Gaines, are in Waco, filming an episode of Emmanuel Acho’s YouTube series, Uncomfortable Conversations With a Black Man.
